  Join with me in prayer, if you would, for a potential church plant here in the Clarksville , Tennssee area. This will be a difficult battle getting something like this going, but I see a desperate need for more solid churches here amongst all the word of faith churches and poor theological churches spread across here. This city is filled with hundreds of thousands of unreached people who desperately need the Gospel. This is something that will take a little bit of time and lots of effort getting this thing planned and started but it is needed. Be in prayer that God may equip me thoroughly for the task at hand and that I may rest in His Sovereign grace through it all
  This is a Kentucky Southern Baptist church . They have in the past used non southern Baptist Material from out side the denomination. While I was a member for about a two year period there was a "sermon" and some testimony about the need or tithing each service. There has been a change in leadership. I fell, they do not reflect The Calvinistic viewpoint. The King James Bible is not an issue . I could not see a particle viewpoint about Christ's return. The membership has a great deal of turnover. The few young men I knew left for Calvinistic works in Paducah or Clarksville , Tennessee.. I received good pastoral care on some issues . I am uncertain of their doctrinal position but they claim to go by the SBC articles of faith. One area of the need is fellowship. Sunday school teaching/preaching was by lecture only . I am unsure of model of business as in the past the church employed a church administrator ? I think the church is not taught about Baptist church history . I never heard about JR Graves or the Baptist bride doctrines. Much of the leadership do not live in Oak Grove , Kentucky . There is a single wide trailer park with older homes next to the church compound. The church in the past use deacons assignment for certain sections of ministry.
